Artistic Foundations

My artistic background shapes how I build immersive experiences, with a focus on composition, rhythm, and visual clarity.

Equal Forces

Creative concept and execution: Composition study, digital sculpting, texturing and lighting. Final composition printed on metal.

Maya

Equal Forces is a composition study created to demonstrate technical and artistic control with Maya. The project focuses on scene layout, lighting, and visual hierarchy.

The scene shows two imaginary species, used to test how tension and presence can be communicated and held through framing, contrast, and scale. Directional lighting and shadow separate forms, define depth, and guide the viewer’s eye. The composition is intentionally static, prioritizing balance and clarity over narrative resolution to keep the focus on lighting and compositional choices.

Adultery

Art project: 3D Modeling, 3D rendering and photo manipulation.

Photography | Maya | Photoshop

This project is a collaboration with photographer Youness Hammadine, developed while living in Casablanca, Morocco. The series explores an unconventional narrative around adultery, using underwater photography as a shared creative approach.

Working from the photographs, I digitally reworked the images to refine composition, lighting, and overall mood, integrating sculpted and rigged sharks from Maya. The sharks serve as symbolic, watchful elements confronting the central figure, suggesting tension and consequence without explicit action.

Final pieces from the project were featured in Diptyk, a 3D magazine.

Dark Avatar

Creative concept: 3D modeling, texturing, and lighting.

ZBrush | Maya | Photoshop

This project was inspired by the 2009 film Avatar and developed while living in Morocco. I created a 3D avatar drawing from the local environment, Moroccan culture, desert landscapes, and my imagination. The avatar was sculpted and painted in ZBrush, with lighting and rendering completed in Maya. Final refinements were made in Photoshop.

Final piece was featured on the cover of Le Guide de la 3D magazine.

Cards and Dice

Art project: 3D Modeling, 3D rendering and photo manipulation.

Camera Camera

Photography | Maya | Photoshop

This photograph was captured by Youness Hammadine during a live event. When I received the shot, I immediately saw the potential for an additional creative layer, inspired by Maverick films, western bar interiors, and outlaw crews.

The narrative developed organically, adapting to the elements already present in the frame. I designed and laid out the 3D composition of the cards, dice, and guns, added tattoos and props using Photoshop, and adjusted the lighting to enhance the original image. The final image integrates Old West visual elements to shift the scene’s mood, composition, and visual hierarchy.
